June 4th a group of loopers left Chesapeake City and headed for Cape May New Jersey. We saw dolphins, a turtle, and sighted a whale blow. Very cool. By 2 pm we were already going into Cape May, so plan B, we decided to keep going to Atlantic City. Ok here we are out in the Atlantic with The Lower Place ( Charlie and Robin) and Trinity (Duane,Sonja ) going 10 mph. The last 2 hours of a total of 12 and 115 miles got pretty bouncy. Not as bad as the gulf was, thank goodness. We anchored just beyond Rum Point. On June 5th we cruised a mile into Farleys Marina by the Golden Nugget. Bruce played Texas Holdem at the Borgatta and I tried the slots at the Nugget. Bruce and Sue on (Lark) came in today. They officially cross their wake near Manhattan. We later had a burger with The Lower Place (Robin ,Charlie). On June 6th Bruce played another tournament and I went to the pool. He joined me later for late lunch. Very large pool and 4 hot tubs. Myra Marie and Laurie Jean are now at Farleys. Docktails. At 7 pm Bruce and I took the green Jitney bus down to the famous boardwalk . We strolled, looked for trinkets and tasted their food. We had to try a couple slot machines at Ceasar’s before we hopped on the bus for home.
