Cute little boat behind a house boat

We went 64.7 miles to an Anchorage called Sumter Landing. We managed two locks today, the Stenis and Bevill Locks. A big paddle boat was up on Shore. We tried running the generator to cook lunch but it quit right after the coffee  brewed.  Houses are still built on stilts along the Tenn-Tom.  It was very cold this November  2nd.  I put my Christmas  socks on because they keep my feet warm. Heavy sweatshirts are perfect and gloves for me.  When we arrived at our Anchorage we rafted to Parrot Bay on his port side facing the opposite way with our anchor in the opposite direction and Island Girl to them on the starboard side.  Docktails and Dinner.   Very quiet  area. A lot of hyacinths and cabbage in the water.

  1. Love following your adventures! I bet you’ve never had as much alone time with your husband! What great times to share! Today is our church Fall supper, so I wash dishes from 4:00 – 6:00. I do enjoy my rommegrot though!
