Going through Chicago with the boat was maybe some panic, a lot of perspiration, fighting the wind. At one point we realized we had to call the Amtrak bridge in order to pass under it. We were able to tie to the wall in Chinatown to wait. Bicentennial Park wall at Joliet. Wonderful free hookups to electric. And many looper boats. Met Nancy who helped us with ropes, she said she saw a concerned look on my face and knew I needed help. We had wonderful dock tales about the angry tug captains  because we went yoo fast by them OOPS  and long waits at the lock.
