Swells strong today probably 3-4 feet. I secured the TV and antennae. Before we arrived at Winthrop Harbor the cooler went flying down the steps into the cockpit area. My little tomato plant survived even with the cooler and storage box smothering it. Bruce successfully backed into the slip with cheers from other boaters but we had to move into another slip to fit the electric plug ins. Having a blast here. Met Brett (who graciously gave us a ride to the grocery) and Pam,  His mom and dad, Russ and Pat.  We were entertained at their yacht  club by the actual harbor host Phil and Brett competing for highest bar tab.  We helped  Brett 😘 .  WE  took the Metra into Chicago FROM Winthrop. Long day walking to Millenium Park to see the bean, then to see the Picasso. Interesting skyscrapers, boats on the Chicago river,popcorn and people.  Onto the subway to find Lou Malnati’s pizza.more walking, 2 hour train home. We invited ourselves to a marina party with a great band ending with In-a-gadda-da-vida.
